YJ goes under the knife

So as many of you know I have had gears turning in my head for a while now about my winter project on the YJ. Now that I'm home and working on it I have some progress to report obviously.
I've got a build thread on pirate that I'll continue to pdate but I figured I'd share it here as well with the club
That said,
Plans are 4 link rear with 16 inch FOA coilovers. That means a new rear crossmember which will turn into a completely flat (flush with framerails) skidplate assembly. It also means I have to notch or redo the rear frame to clear the coilovers, I'm gonna rebuild from the B-pillar body mount back out of square tube I'm thinking, narrower and higher up. The rears gonna get stretched like 8 inches I think. Creepers joints on all my links and a mix of ballistic brackets as well as my own. If I find time towards the end of break I may also work out some boatsides for it, we'll see.
Brackets
Joints
Shocks

Also took some time to tie up a few other loose ends that I've been meaning to get to.
The front shackles were stock and kind of shot, so they got replaced.
And I've been meaning to fill in the gap in my tube fenders with something since I built them so I fitted in some aluminum.
and the jeep looks so sad on the little tires. Zach now has my old tires and rims, I'm moving to a set of red label krawlers most likely

Looking good Will! Sadly the only thing i've done to mine so far is get the shop cleaned around it. I'm hoping to have the rear done this weekend depending on how much I have to work.

Thanks guys. I'm hoping to have it atleast sitting on its own weight by the start of next semester, I may not have a driveshaft in it by then though.
Ary I have a friend with a set of 5 hes willing to let go to me and Grason is now on the BFG racing team so he said he may be able to hook me up with a set.
Got some work done on the skidplate yesterday, I was in the shop for 12 hours straight.

ill try and find a picture of what im talking about
also anopther project for sometime in the near future
