Trowmanche

As most of you know I got a new toy as a wedding gift. 1988 long bed MJ. After doing to much thinking and playing on the Internet, I've decided that I'm going to do my build in two stages
1. DD
2. Trail monster
Step 1: DD
The plan is to put a 2" lift on it, 31" tires, swap out the driver side door, passenger spring pack, shocks, tool box, front tow hooks, minor body work, and a cheap paint job. I've toyed with the idea of a 97+ front clip swap, but right now I want to have a decent looking truck to drive around town as cheap as possible.
The plan is to DD the truck for a while, save my money and wheel the piss out of the XJ. I built my old XJ in multiple stages since I was 16 and had a great time doing it......however, I also wasted alot of time and money. This time I plan to build what I want the first time around. Once i've gathered what I need, the Trowmanche will head to the garage....and emerge as a whole new beast.
