Hey does anyone know of any good places and trails to ride around the area for dirtbikes. My friend and I checked out the trail on Brush Mountain right off 460 the other day but we were just wondering if there were any other places near by?
Thanks for your help

You rode the fire road at the top of the mountain? Do you have a plated dirt bike?

No we dont have plates. It was a fireroad that had some houses on it and then eventually ended and turned into an offroading trail. There were some other guys riding dirtbikes up there. We heard about it from my friends older brother who use to go to Tech and he would offroad up there in his truck.

The area that you are talking about is a Forest Service Road. You are only legal on that trail with a tag. Any riding that you do in or around Blacksburg is going to have to be private land or you could face big fines from the FS. If you go out towards WV north of Princeton there is a few riding areas. Check out, Hatfield McCoy and Wagon Wheel. They are only a little over an hour from Tech, and you can ride legal and not end up in court.
What kind of bike do you have?

Ok we'll def check those places out, we also heard of a place called Patterson Mountain OHV trail its about an hour away. And i have an xr 400 and a ttr 125. I just brought down the 125 bc my roomate and I are keeping our bikes in our outdoor closet at the village. The XR wouldnt have fit in there with his CRF 150. Do you know if there is anyway to get plates so riding up there is legal and are you allowed up there in your car?
