Hey my name is Connor Kaufmann. I'm a freshman at Tech this year and I hail from Bucks County, Pennsylvania. I drive a patriot blue '03 Jeep Liberty with some stuff on it.

Back home I did a lot of wheeling on farms and some coal mines; I am trying to get a feel for the area, as I am eager to get the Jeep muddy again.

I plan on attending the 9/12 meeting so I can meet everyone.

Here are a few pictures of my KJ. I will personally attest that this little guy can handle some shit.

Those street tires are no more.

I look forward to some fun times. See you all Sunday.

Hey Guys,

My name is Mark, I'm not sure if I should post here or not since I missed the meeting on the 12th, but I'm new to the forum.
I'm from Colorado but I'm in Blacksburg for school at VT. I've wheeled a lot in Colorado but don't really know a lot of places here to go yet. The only trail I know of is a forest service road but this year it has a sign that says "no unauthorized motor vehicles beyond this point" and well, I guess I gotta respect the sign even though it's so so tempting haha
Here's my rig and some pictures from various trails in Colorado:

Welcome Mark. No prob about missing the meeting, come on out next time. (9/26). Colorado does look sweet. Nice looking 4runner.

That trail by the forest service road is Bobcat. We're sad to see it go, we used to do trail cleanups there, was a nice local trail. I think you would have a good time on the Potts Mountain trail, about 1-1.5 hrs away near New Castle, VA (west of Roanoke). We plan to make a run there October 2, you should join us.

thanks for the welcome guys!

sounds good i'll head out on the 26th to the meeting and we'll talk about potts mountain :thumby:

makes me sad that bobcat is closed though... the beginning looked fun. too bad the forest service won't give you guys authorization for maintaining it.
