I have a NP231D with 23spl input, factory slipyoke output and factory wide chain setup forsale. I recently pulled it from my 1998 Cherokee to swap in a NP242. The case is in OK shape. I would rebuild it before I put it in anything myself, but it was a running case that saw close to 400 miles a week of DD use with mild/occasional off-road use. It comes with a rear drive shaft for a Cherokee with a AX-15 manual transmission, a factory Cherokee skid plate and a spare NP231D from a later model Dakota. I do not know what is wrong with the 2nd case, all I know is that the chain slipped over the cogs when you made turns in 4wd.

I'm asking $80 for all and won't ship. I'll deliver along I81 between Wytheville and Roanoke.

Might be interested in the skid if/when you decide to split it up. Is it factory or aftermarket, or home brewed?

It's a factory Up Country skid. Another guy has called dibs on it though. We'll see what happens. Interested in two extra T-cases?
