Hey guys, I'm new to the club so I thought I would make a little intro. My name is Russell. I'm a junior in Mining Engineering. I haven't been wheeling for long, but I used to go with my dad when I was younger, so I figured I should give it a try. I have a 2001 Toyota 4Runner. I know its not a monster of a rig, but I still love it. Here is a link to my build thread if you want to check it out.

I am really looking forward to taking a few wheeling trips this year, and hopefully learning some more about my truck/others. Also I remember that it was mentioned that the club used to have small 'classes' for skills that would come in handy when working on a rig or wheeling in general. If that is going to happen, I would really like to learn a little about welding. I have played around with a welder in the past, but think it would be cool to actually know what I'm doing.

That thing looks really good. Should enter in the car show this weekend. That is by far my favorite body style 4runner of them all. Looking forward to wheeling with it. Don't worry speaking of mild my truck has 32 KM2s but I still am gunna give it a try.

Hey man, glad to see you posting up. That's a good looking runner. If you are free you should come out this weekend to some of our events.

Rig looks good, I have a '97 4runner on OME suspension and 235/85R16's. Just a DD, but it does see some exploration type wheeling and the occasional trail ride when my trail rig is down. You should bring it and wheel Potts this weekend.

Thanks guys! I really love it so far, and haven't really had any issues. The FJ 40 is my dads. He needs to take some time off of work and fix it up a little, but he hasn't had a chance to in a long time. It is a beast though. I will be coming out to the car show on Saturday. I'm contemplating just going dirty, but i may have a chance to clean it. Sadly, I won't be able to make it to the wheeling trip this weekend, but I am going to try to make the next one.

Hey Russell, sad to hear it that you won't make it, but excited to see that FJ.
