mounting a tire(rim needed)

I finally got my spare a couple days ago....just wondering if anyone has a crappy rim I could by for a 33x12.50 15LT on a wrangler bolt pattern cant remember what it is.......
If I get the rim it might be a good topic for a meeting tech on reseating a blown bead, cause god knows I dont know how to do it

The bolt pattern you're looking for is 5x4.5". I have a wheel for that pattern but it's 16".
I've got my hitch-mounted manual tire changer now. Maybe two weeks from now I won't be as busy as I was last night.

Already did that topic last night.
Leach and company mounted a 44" TSL via the ether method, took a while (1/2 can of ether, spray paint, brake cleaner, some sea foam, lol) but they got it done I reckon. Once they got the proper ether in the tire it seated right up. Good show.

Get ya a wheel and bring the tire, we shall do it again. Should go easier not mounting a 18.5" wide tire on an 8" wide wheel that damn near seats the bead itself keeping ether from catching on the tire.
And not everyone saw the final product, so a good showing works for me.

cool......I just found out that I have a steely waiting for me at home(Maryland) but I dont trust the 5 plugs in the slice to hold air for the highway trip. Is there any way that we can remove the plugged tire that Im rocking right now and replace it with the new tire I have laying in my living room? That way when I get to maryland I can snag the rim and put the plugged tire on their to use as my spare...
The plugged tire has magically held air this whole time but I really dont trust it to hold up to highway speeds for 5 hours.....let alone a blow out at 70mph :shock:

I'm going to mount my new tires this afternoon. Picked up a HF manual tire changer, so it should not be too much trouble. Give me a call if you want to swing by with your junk.
