My name is Gavin, I'm a senior here at tech majoring in political science and am in the Army. I drive a 2002 tundra with a 2.5'' suspension lift on 285 MT's and its my DD. Got to talk to a couple of the guys down when they had the truck by the bookstore and am excited about meeting the other members. Sorry I missed the meeting on the 18th gonna have to catch the next one. Looking for to working with some of the experienced machinist and techy's to learn some new stuff with modding the vehicle because i still have parts sitting in the truck that need to be put on. and would like some advice with some ideas that i have with some modifications i would like to do over the year. Started wheeling back in high school with my neighbor Brian Thompson, graduate from tech too!, who is a big FJ fan and Kevin Roberts, also a Hokie, who smashed around in an XJ.

Hey thanks guys, yeah i was looking around at some of the other rigs on the site and there are some pretty badass rides out there, specially the yotas. Alec, I'll definitely take you up on the offer be cool to come check your shop out and get some of your ideas with some mods i would like to do to the truck. one thats been rattling my brain for the last couple of weeks is building a tube cage for the bed so i can put a canvas soft top on it like a cargo truck.

@Arya Ebrahimi, haha yeah B Thomps! we lived beside each other since I was about 5, and he still has the old blue 60 and sprung it over. Even has another 60 for parts, a nice FJ40 on 35's and an 80 that he's been trying to get running again, can't remember the problem though.

Is the 80 a recovered stolen vehicle with messed up wiring?

Welcome to the club. I'm on mud too.
