plan for the immediate future is to get the electronics/dash sorted out since it is a victim of the infamous PO, tag it, and drive it thru the winter. Mods to come in the summer- gotta finish the Widebody over the winter for racing next year... (83 RX7 with LT1)

now its apart, painting it with the same bedliner as the tub, and changing out the broken knobs/gauges.

Anyone have some doors/top I can borrow/buy??? winter is gonna suck without some...[/img]

If you want to borrow my half doors and buy some of the little plastic inserts you can use them with my soft uppers. I have a bikini top that could also be made to work, that would atleast cut down on the wind.

^NO!

Anyone have an extra one of these heater hoses?

Sweet job done by the PO for the taillights... which didnt work till today...

Still no Blinkers, but should be easy to fix now.

Image
Fixing some other BS the PO had done under here too- any switch/knob that broke, he rigged to a new toggle switch (heater, wipers, etc...) also, some wires are masking taped together, or have 3-4 butt splices on a single wire..... WTF...

Other than that, stripped some more of the PSGR floorboard so I can put some fresh Truck Bedliner in...

Coming along pretty good...

Next is Bleeding/replacing brakes, and trying to sort out the slop in the steering (column has tons of slop, and im gonna assume most bushings are trashed as well...)

Also, Still need a gas tank if anyone can help me out with that.

And Will, call me back and we can do this door/top thing tomorrow sometime?

Fixing the taillight wiring today.

Also, all the Parking Brake hardware is missing. Anyone have extras? lol

Not sure what all you need, or if it changes over, but you're welcome to come steal my pedal assembly and any other related parts

the pedal is still there, as well as the cables. But anything related to the parking brake in the drum is gone.

Also, fixed the brake wiring- looks a bit better...

I'm assuming this is for inspection purposes? Cause the factory parking brakes suck. That's "a lot" of work to put one back in given that they need adjustment all the time and don't particularly hold that well.

I was happy with a 4X4X12" piece of wood for my parking brake.
