Hi. Collison here.

Post by Collison »

Hi everyone,

I just moved to the Christiansburg area a few weeks ago and am looking for a new club to wheel with. I come from Fredericksburg area and am an active member with NOVA Jeepers and RCPFA (Crozet). Im not afraid to take it out and get it dirty!

So whats up here? The forum seems kinda dead, ie the posts are all older ones. Are there any members out there actively meeting and wheeling? Is the club more active when school is in session? Is there a members side to the forum that users cant see?

Heres a few shots of my rig.

Hey man good to see youre in the area!

The club is certainly more active in the school year since a large number of our member base is composed of students. There is also a members only side to the forum that stays a little more active than the public sections.

There will be a meeting schedule posted up soon, we tend to meet every other Sunday in one of the commuter lots, look forward to seeing you out.

Welcome man. Nice looking tj. The forum should be picking up in a few weeks when everyone gets back to school. Definitely come out to a meeting, we usually discuss fall wheeling trips during the first few meetings.

Glad to see you in the area. Come out to one of the meetings this fall to see what the club is like. I think you'll like the people and the fact that we aren't a vehicle specific club.

Thanks, I will put up a build thread after I get more access to the forums.
Fall is my favorite time to wheel, leaves changing colors, temperature not to hot or too cold!
Plus I have a feeling that there are way more areas to get out around here than where I used to live that need exploring.

I will definately be out to the meetings, only issue might be work. Is there or will there be any kind of schedule posted so I can plan ahead?
I love wheeling with different vehicles and not just Jeeps. Ive seen so many different styles of rigs do things that amaze me!

Welcome!

Full forum access comes with membership dues. We will be ironing out details like this at the first couple of meetings. Will, Matt, and I will come up with a tentative schedule for the Fall Semester when they get back into town this week.

I'm in town year-round, so feel free to give me a shout if you want to hangout/learn more about Sinking Creek.

Is there a way to pay the dues ahead of time (paypal, check in the mail etc) or only at meetings?

I might hit you up one of these days, working mostly nights right now though.

Awesome TJ man! Read your build thread and a lot of the stuff you did reminds me of mine. Except yours runs  You'll see what I mean when I get my computer issues straightened out. Welcome to the club though!
