Sinking Creek 4WD Association

So I went and switched my trailer tail lights to LED's instead of replacing with traditional. I spliced the new wires right to the existing brown, green and yellow, an the lights grounded via the mounting bolts. Now whenever I put on a turn signal both lights blink. Running lights work correctly with the new LED's, brake lights work when the pedal is applied. Also if I have a turn signal on and push the brakes both trailer lights stop blinking and the light up. All I did was replace the lights right into the existing wire harness. Everything worked correctly before the swap. Any thoughts? I've checked all grounds and connections.
