Try Bills or Agees both have a ton of xjs. RockAuto has a new one for $115 as well.

Ax4 is not even a tranny.. ax5 came behind 4 bangers and ax15 came behind the 4Ls. Come on stables :flipoff2:

I also read that you can simply unhook it and it should start but you wont have reverse lights.. dont know how true that is though

AX-4 was the predecessor to the AX-5. Pre-88

Well I stand corrected Sir William. I had never heard of an ax4 until now. I thought they used the ba-15 prior to ax5 but I guess that was only behind the amc 2.8 v6s.

This is how mine is. I know we're talkin bout 2 different era computer systems, in different model Jeeps, but just sayin...

Recently confirmed my suspicions that the PCM/ECM I received when I short circuited my old one is for an automatic instead of a manual  Which explains a lot... Turns out my wiring wasn't as shoddy as you thought Will :flipoff2: the NSS/TRS on the AT shares a PCM harness wire with the simpler Back-up Light Switch found on the MT. That's why my engine would shut off when shifting into reverse and why I had to unplug it ages ago. My clutch safety switch hasn't worked since the PCM swap either. The engine runs ok, but I have no automatic reverse lights (been using my auxiliaries) and it's constantly throwing codes for lack of a transmission control model etc... So now I get to buy another PCM and have the stealership flash it because some idiot on ebay got parts mixed up

Got DRB???
