So have me build you a bumper so you dont have to do front end body work again.
A dorky driving note to add: it takes an average person a half a second to recognize an incident in front of them, just to recognize a problem, does not include reaction time till you start to hit the brakes. So half a car length (common following distance in the left lane on 81) leaves you no time to react. Granted, Peter can contest I do not follow my own advice.

that's nothin!!
treehugger (looong before she really started any wheelin) rear ended a stopped car @ 35mph. totaled the mazda 626, broke out both rear passenger windows, car had to be picked up with a flatbed.
I drove the treehugger home. $1600 in damage. the guys at the body shop thought i hit somebody in a parking lot... definitely not 35 mph.

Sorry to hear about the accident man. Hope ya get the rig back together, or better yet leave that fender off, toss on some 37's and run her till you diminish the stock of IFS taco parts on the east coast. Then go portal axles.
mmmm portal axles

haha yea i beat the dents out with a bfh and bondod it, looks ghetto but what the hell who cares, as much as i love yotas im thinking about selling it and buying a wrangler? just a possibility

Coming from a fellow multiple wrangler owner. Dont do it. Tacos are the shit, slap a solid axle in it and run some 40's.
But if you are selling to build a pimp rig, the 91-94 YJ (offered earlier, but no good drivetrain) are very cheap and certain 3/4 and 1 ton axles will bolt in. The weld some new purches on the rear and you got a nasty rig. Wheelbase is easily stretched with stock XJ springs. 4.0L is a great motor as well.

thanks for the input leach, im still exploring some possibilites, i just want something with solid front on it, if i can somehow fund a SAS on my tacoma i would be all for it, a mid 80s toy p/u with a 22re might be ideal, tube from the cab back and 37s or 38s, sell the taco buy that and a new dd, why have one ride when u can have two?
