I broke down and purchased a Optima Digital 1200 battery charger today. I have already charged 5 batteries with it and like the features and am happy with it so far. So if you have an Optima that is dead let me know and we can hook it up and try to bring it back to life. Optima claims that it can bring a battery back to life from 1.25 volts. So I'm hoping someone will oblige my testing of this claim. Since unfortunately for testing purposes all of mine are now fully charged (and none were below 75%).

After I have had the charger for 6 months I'll post a review.

There are two optimas in my shop that don't hold a charge under load.

Bring them home with you next time you are there and I'll swing by and pick them up from you and give them a charge and see what happens. PM me or text me when they are at your house.

Have you tried to charge them with a good battery hooked up to the charger and the "bad" Optima hooked up to the battery? What type are they red top or yellow top or maybe blue (doubtful tho)?

hahah, I was up at 545. Had a test to study for and hw to finish.

Frost has 2 red top batteries that he wants me to charge and see what happens... This should be interesting.

Did you every try to hook up a "good" battery to the charger and either of the two batteries (red top/blue top) to the "good" battery?
