I have a Firestik 2' top-loaded fiberglass whip I'll sell with it for the $20 I've got in it. For the coax, go down to Ironto and buy the nicer RG-8x cables they have with the copper braid and soldered connectors. Lower loss than the cheapo stuff = better receive.
