New tire produced by Nitto. Looks to be aiming to compete with the duratrac. Somewhere between a MT and AT.

Hahah, I'd say that is a big market share for Nitto.

I have 17s in the Bronco because that is what the LTBs come in. I think the 16 is slowly going away and being replaced by 17s. I probably would have 17s on my truck too but the 315R16 is .2" taller than the 315R17 :flipoff2:

I guess they dont think the 15" market is there for Jeeps and older half tons? I know its the cool thing to have a JK on 18s now, but there are still a million TJs, I'm surprised.

It seems like 17" wheels are becoming pretty standard for most off road tires these days. I liked running 16" for a while, but switched to 17s just to run 37s as 37x12.50r17s were a much more common size than 37s for 16s. Im guessing most of the tire sizes are also gonna be E range rated for the heavier diesels. They look pretty good, price comparisons between the ridge graps, KO2s, and duratracs?

JKs are probably a larg factor. Only some of the 15"s fit on the factory JK, and you cant clear any larger steering without running a 17" wheel.

Although everyone on 18" probably has no idea what larger steering is...

17's are the new 15's. Don't know any new SUV with less than a 17 anymore haha. Most trucks come with 20's nowadays.

The upper trim levels have 18s and 19s I think, but the standard sr5 and sport models still run 16s and 17s

Fair enough, but point being, the standard sizes are increasing.

Its here at the house if want to come get it! I have 2 spare 37s on 17" wheels now so I have no use for my old wheel, might even persuade you to go up to 35s since there's already one mounted to it. :flipoff2:
