'92 Toyota Pickup - formerly known as TwoFace

Older members will remember this rig. I bought it from Jason a month or so ago because he had to move to AL from MD. Now I need to get rid of it, and all of the Toyota parts I got with it.

It is a 1992 Toyota Xtracab. SAS and pretty built drivetrain. Has a 3.4L swapped in but will need to be replaced due to a fire. Everything under the hood is trashed. Tranny and tcase are in good shape.

Crispy engine- 5VZFE (3.4L) from 2004 Tacoma. Conversion wiring harness from Off Road Solutions.

Tranny and tcase are original from 3VZ (3.0L). First gear pops out sometimes.

Clutch is 3.4L, through-out bearing is for 3.0, this allows you to run the shorter bell housing (original from 3.0 tranny)

Front bumper was all tig welded.

SAS was Marlins kit. FJ80 tie rod ends, and I think one needs to be replaced. Cross member was TIG welded

Front axle are 30 spline Longfields, from when Bobby owned the company. 4.10s welded. I think the third member is V6 The short side outer was replaced under warranty. Yep, I managed to break a longfield. With steering box relocation, can move axle 2 inches further forward. Already drilled for it.

Front driveshaft was from high angle driveline. As steep of an angle it will vibrate over 10mph. Rear driveshafts are stock.

Rear axle is V6 third member I think. 4.10s, V6 spool. Brakes are from earlier solid axle toyota, calipers and rotors. Residual valve on brake line.

Rear springs are 63" chevys.

Has Bilstein (5100 i believe) shocks but passenger rear shock needs to be replaced. It was broken while we pushed the truck onto my trailer somehow.

This would make someone a great wheeling rig for not a ton of money. It would be cool to see someone in the club keep this thing around and gets it going again.

I am asking $1500 in hopes it will go to someone in the club. We can also discuss the other parts I have if you're interested. I pretty much have another truck in drivetrain parts that need to go.

If you're interested let me know and you can come out and see it. Located in Floyd County.

The mostly complete looking tcase in the pics is from the 2004 Tacoma donor vehicle that the fried 3.4 came out of. It is electronic shift. I took it apart a few years back to try and figure out a way to make a gear reduction box out of it. I didnt molest anything, just disassembled and it sat on a dry work bench. All the parts and hardware should be there, they just need any dust cleaned out of them and reassembled.

That nissan diesel engine is around the area I am residing now (northern Alabama) and I might be able to help get it up to Blacksburg area.

I would love to see someone from the club buy TwoFace and wheel her around the area again. It would make a strong rig if you got another power plant in it. JDM has a lot of 3.4L engines and even some low mile Toyota turbo diesels that would be easy to swap in. Axles and bearing are in relatively good shape.

Peter, I forgot to add the headers that caught the birds nest on fire, i.e. the ones in the truck are/were ceramic coated Downey headers, not just exhaust manifolds. They are likey still good.

I just realized looking at these pics the fire was concentrated on the 'bad' side of TwoFace, keeping the theme going.

And I have to change my signature if I am ever going to post here again.

But seriously, if I had the time and space i would drop in another engine. Frame is solid. Maybe put another cab on it.

A lot of memories around this truck. Cuts on my arm and almost killing Caleb in the pond!

Sold it to some kid in NC. Hopefully it makes it there. Dudes trailer/tiedown setup was not inspiring to say the least.
