Shot in the dark, but any have a 5.29 ring and pinion and rebuild kit for an 8" v6? Doubt anyone has them laying around, figured it's worth a shot.

Damn... I wish all I needed was a crush collar and some shims. My pinion bearing and r&p are shot to shit.alk1174 wrote:I have some crush sleeves and shims but thats it.
If it's the r150f from your blue 3rd gen, I might be interested in the whole shebang. Gear transfer case, right?BlueDodgeRam wrote:I think I have one, but it's connected to a tranny. Can't remember if it's forward shift or top shift. I'll take a picture tonight.
Thanks, was planning on giving them a call today.alk1174 wrote:No extras but check with Agees in Cburg. I have used them before and the price was decent.
Thanks for checking, Peter, but I need a pass drop preferably gear driven transfer. Guess Ill keep looking around the junkyards.BlueDodgeRam wrote:The v6 tranny/t-case combo I have is drivers drop. This is a seperate one from what is in two face. I also have another v6 transfer case that was disassembled but should be complete. Out of a 3.0 truck iirc.
Yep, you're right! Totally my fault! I meant pass drop. Nothing I need immediately, just planning ahead for the sas.BlueDodgeRam wrote:Oh you said drivers side above. See 1st picture in my post. I have a whole combo with pass drop case, that should be gear driven.
If you're up for driving out to near Floyd you can come see what I have.
