Looking into new front ds for my JK before winter. We discussed preload before, but I've begun shopping around. Looking for a double cardan complete with tcase and pinion yokes.
Opinions on Carolina Driveline, JE Reel, Tom Woods, or other options?

Last I talked with people Carolina drive line was reasonably priced and made good products. Tom Woods is usually $$$. Buy the cheapest, they're all good.

might check out there local to you, a lot of offroad shops out there or within an hour or two, one of them has to make good driveshafts.

Okay, so narrowing it all down and have found a couple options in terms of the tcase and pinion flange/yoke. Every company supplies a yoke for the tcase as I'm moving to a double cardan. Now ive seen 3 different ways of attaching the joint to the pinion. Reusing the stock flange, changing out the flange to a new one, or changing the flange to a yoke.
Price aside, what are pros/cons of each?
Examples:
Reusing Stock:

That didn't answer my yoke question.
Now maybe if you were in your garage working on your swap instead of on the forum you would make it to rausch.

Well, I've been browsing for a while and it finally paid off. I have a couple options
1) Adams 1310 ds with spicer solid ujoint for $363 that reuses the stock pinion flange.
2) Same drive shaft for $388 that replaces the flange with a pinion yoke.
I am leading towards reusing the stock flange. It is round so wouldn't hang up as much vs getting caught up on the yoke. It's also $25 cheaper and I don't have to deal with worrying about preload. Any serious reasons to choose a yoke vs reusing the flange?
All other options and quotes are $435-$480
