360 4bbl Edelbrock
727 with some slight tweaking
NP203/NP205 doubler

4 inch rough country springs
shackle flip rear with extended shackles
drop hangers front with longer shackles
3 inch body lift
approx. 10 inches total lift

Dana 60 front 5.13's and a detroit with drive flanges/Superwinch hubs
Dana 60 rear 5.13's and welded

38.5x14.5 Super Swamper SX's custom grooved
15x10 DIY beadlocks

homemade hydro assist with crossover steering
Dual Optima Red Tops
12,000 Mile Marker Winch
Full Roll Cage

I almost have my 78 Trailduster Sport back together now.Yours looks killer.I am swapping in a 82 727 trans and 205 case in a few months.How did you "slightly tweak" your tranny?

I bumped up the line pressure and added a B&M shift kit to it. Firmed up the shifts.

I am putting in thicker clutch pack snap rings,removing every other piston spring,boosting line pressure,and adding in boost valves and a home shift kit.It will shift hard enough to bark a 36 in second when I am done :beer:

Mine would bark 36's in low range when shifting to second.

as of now....yes, as of the next time it sees the trail.....no.

I have the steering arm and drag link. Just gotta mail my pittman arm to Steinberg and have him drill it out to 1 ton chevy ends.

This picture is from the PA Rally that Adam and I ran a couple years ago.

I think that this may have been about the most beat up my truck has ever been. At this point in the rally, the passenger side door has seen more trees than most lumberjacks, and will no longer open.
