We're setting up Slack Messenger for push-notifications mainly for announcement purposes. It was decided that we need to try and keep people more up date than just the forum. This will be something that we can quickly post a last minute local trip, a meeting reminder, or other activities. The goal is not to let the forum die, I worked too hard on it last year getting it updated, and still do. But, the goal is create a way to keep everyone informed without clutter so more people have the information they need and the opportunity to have fun with the club.

All I need is an email address, VT preferably but it does not matter, just a valid email address. From there I can add you to the chat. This is on the public side so I recommend messaging me privately here on the forum to gain access.
