Selling the K5

Post by TerryD »

I've just lost interest in my K5. It's a great crawler but I just don't have the time or money to make it what I want it to be so I'm going to try to get out of it what I have in it parts and let someone else take over.

Location: Covington, Va

Build Thread: https://ck5.com/forums/threads/84-k5-th ... rd.263371/

1984 K5 Blazer Silverado:
New 350 with mild lunati cam, brand new headman headers, aluminum Z28 intake with Q-jet with electric choke, Accel HEI distributor
TH700R4 with 2nd biggest stacked-plate B&M cooler available
NP208 clocked flat with fresh fluid and JB Customs cable shifter, still needs shifter bracket sorted out.
10b front, 3.42 gears, Lock-Rite, original Yukon alloy shafts, Warn Premium hubs, new brakes, calipers, hoses, bearings, ect.
12b rear, 3.42 gears, Richmond mini-spool, Superior shafts, new brakes, wheel cylinders, hardwear, wheel bearings, and seals.
5x 35x12.50 Goodyear MT/R Kevlar tires, bead balanced on factory K5 wheels
Wired for CB radio with external speaker and 102" whip
2" Rancho lift, currently blocks in the rear but I have u-bolts and AALs for the rear.

Spare Parts:
NP241: Needs rebuild
later model TH700R4: Needs rebuild
2nd battery box
second full set of wheels

Needs to wheel:
Exhaust system
T-Case shifter bracket finished

Asking $2500

The plan is a Rubicon 4 door to pull double duty. Something similar to Brett's ride. I just don't have the time to have two vehicles to cover what in reality is one need. Maybe I'll actually wheel then! :flipoff2:

Bump. Pulling wheels and tires off if I drop the price again. I'm losing good money here folks! Exhaust and a shifter for the t-case and this thing is a great wheeler. Cross over steering and a 64" swap in the rear and it's a serious machine!
