Well I'm going to start a slow build thread. This will be partly for me to keep track of what I did when and partly a place to post trip pictures.
My goal with this build to keep it as reliable as possible for daily driving but also a capable wheeling rig. Senior year to drive out west, wheel and camp for a week, then drive back. My budget is also basically zero, so its gonna be slow.

2002 Toyota 4Runner Sport 160ish thousand miles.
Got it Spring 2016.
First thing I did was remove the running boards, and went on a camping trip!

All loaded down to go back to school fall 2016. No I don't have that much shit. There is a plaid couch in the back.

Used to be all fancy and have windows you could see out of!

Seems to be the trend in 4runner's... Watch out Bryce!

Fall 2016. Mountain Lake a few times. Rode along to Potts.

First taste of real wheeling. (Chunks of u-joints flying off into the woods.)

Went to Harlan. I was very surprised what the stock saggy rear 4runner could do.

As impressed as I was I learned I needed a locker and some more ground clearance.

Over the winter I found a set of 99 4runner rear springs on craigslist for $10 bucks. I was just trying to get rid of rear sag and keep me from dragging the hitch on everything.

Gained maybe an inch and a half. Mostly just didn't look as saggy anymore.

Sometime spring 2017 Wong convinced me to buy his elocker. I bought it and let it roll around the back of the 4runner for a few months. :thumby:

If you're not DD'ing 37"s you're wasting moar gas on the highway because of the higher RPMs. Basically you're saving the environment when you run 37"s.
