Where is Fall Crawl? We discussed not doing Rausch this semester because it is so far away.

Sorry, Fall Crawl at Big Dogs in Winchester. I would definitely suggest it.

Rausch is far, but it's an easy drive. Certainly not unreasonable for a long weekend. Harlan is the same way, the wheeling is so much better than what you'll get at places like Uwharrie and Flagpole it is worth the drive. For me, half the fun is the convoy anyway.

Harlan is a definite location for the semester just haven't planned the weekend yet. Windrock is also very likely.

I loved Rausch(probably because I didnt break anything) and would love to do it again. But I would also love to go to some other places this year too since I missed out a lot last year with Patches being broken.

Big dogs was fun but was very expensive. It was more of a social wheeling trip than a offroad oriented trip. Id like to make it to one event there this year too, but if not I wont be heart broken and my wallet will also like me a lot more.

Everyone says this but it is half the distance of the other big parks. What is the math on fuel cost? Is 6 hours of your time worth $20? Anywhere you go for a weekend wheeling trip is going to be $100+ combined.

We got up and wheeled both days. Not sure how that is different than anywhere else or what you mean by social. Big Dogs has some of the best crawling around, and it is close.

New places are good. Just don't discount the staples. They are that way for a reason.
