Thread for the Officer Nominations for the 2018-2019 School Year. We are almost to the end so this needs to happen soon. After about a week, everyone who is nominated will have an opportunity to write why they'd be a good candidate and leader. From there we vote. Please stay tuned as this is very important!

Ok everyone: The officer election meeting will be this sunday 4/15 at 7. If you were nominated please come prepared with a few lines about your plans if you were to become an officer.

Oh yeah... we do have bylaws!

According to the Bylaws "4. Dues-Current Members: Annual dues are $40 and are due by the third meeting of each semester. Dues must be paid on time and in full for continued membership in the club. Payment of dues for the year qualifies the member for the end-of-year raffle."

For those of you who may be curious, this next year will be when the Bylaws will be revised and rewritten in over 10 years. It is far past due and there are many aspects of the Bylaws that are inaccurate (we no longer meet in the Litton Reeves parking lot) or no longer enforced by Sinking Creek entirely (we no longer "vote-in" new members).
