Seems dead around here. Almost all of the current posts are by older members. Has the forum been abandoned?

Well its been summertime but with school being back for a couple weeks now and no forum announcements, the new kids might have started a different "safe space" forum.

Haven't talked to the current leadership much. Will ask if they have decided not to use it.

Would be a bit disappointing, leaving out a lot of members on the forum who aren't in school anymore.

Exactly. I have heard of a lot of new members but havent seen any new sign ups. There are quite a few people who check the forum from time to time just for trip notifications.

To be clear, the forum has not been abandoned.

Just this past weekend we had our first trail ride with new prospects and have had several others show interest in joining. I anticipate them to signup on the forum soon. I can definitely take some of the blame because I haven’t made this forum as much of a priority as I once did. Time has become more limited and not having internet at my apartment since I’ve been back isn’t helpful either. Having a full-time summer job and now heavier load in classes for my final fall semester at Virginia Tech doesn’t always lend itself to me spending free time on the forum every single day.

Make no mistake, we aren’t letting the forum go anywhere.

I try to check in occasionally. I hope it doesn't die.

My progress on the truck came to a grinding halt since I had to pay for tuition, so that's why I don't post. I agree though, checking in every once in a while I'm sad to not see any activty
