Glad to see you've gotten some time to work on it. Lemmie know if you need some help.

Autozone fired me (something about having to work at least 1 day per month) so I can't help you out with parts... but I can run a grinder.

lots of grinding is needed. i torched off all of the pieces of tube as close as i could, but there is a looooot of grinding to do.

These two things are mutually exclusive, either you suck at torching, or you're over-exagerating the amount of grinding :flipoff2:

Leach, I'll see you this afternoon, you've been my grinder bitch for countless hours  I don't mind paying back the favor ;)

Preciate the offers on grinding help. It wont take me an hour tops to clean up all the cuts, then the reworking begins. I started to change my design again but soon realized I will need more tube than I can afford so I am going back to my original plan.

Rear tube work will end basically above the rear axle and I am trying to fit in that small area 2 pane tanks, tool box, cooler, spare tire mount, rear winch, etc. etc.

I will be reusing some tubes I cut off and Ary sold me a single stick of 1-3/4 HREW so that will go in where I need more tube. After the summer and I pay off the Tundra I might redo it all but for now just building to be safer than it was and get my ass on the trail.

And dont worry Clay, it will be flogged, 4.2L motors are cheap. When are you leaving town? Im trying to shoot for April Big Dogs run.

Leach, I don't have any way to get it down here, but I have one more stick of HREW. I can cut it in half and put it on the roof if that helps you. It's yours if you want it. I'd just hate to see you do this half-ass and have to redo it. That's not to imply that the workmanship would be shoddy, just don't want you to compromise your design and thereby the overall performance over $40 of material. So let me know, I'll be going up there next weekend.

Every time i Look at buggy of yours leach all I can think about is the trailer and the tail gate of my truck. Every time I load a truck on the trailer now I am in great fear and that one moment in my head replays like a dozen times.

Glad to see you are finally working on it, and you defintly got to take me for a ride in when you get it all done. :thumby:

Got a drawing of how you want the tube to end up?

Haha that wasnt my fault Josh. But atleast now you'll be checking everytime you hook up to a trailer.

Ctrow, I am still fine tuning some ideas in paint, but will hopefully be mostly set on it this afternoon and if so I will scan in a picture and post it up.
