track-bar advice??

Post by TerryD »

:confused2: ah, now that i got the lift, i have a question for the xj guys.....cody standing on my knuckles to get the axle to drop enough to squeeze in the coils apparently "over-flexed" the upper, ball-type, end of my track bar. i'm thinkin about lobbing it off, welding on a piece of tube and a threaded insert, and putting on either a heim joint or high-missalign t.r.e. any other suggestions?

"Cody" and "useful" don't belong in the same sentence. However, he was gracious enough to give me a ride back to the shop tonight. Beer is on me next time we go out. Oh yeah, that's right, you're not 21. :loser:
