Anyone know if there are any places around here to get drive shafts made or modified?

Rye Valley Oil and Gear, where I went last weekend. Driveshafts are one of their specialties, they make can make long slip, high-angle CV shaft, etc. However, the don't stock tube over .095", so its best to take them the tube you want them to use.

Are they reasonably priced? Cause I don't want to spend too much but need a spare rear drive shaft.

My spare shaft is an xj front shaft cut down on a chop saw and weled back together by me. I have had it up to 50mph with the spare on and no vibes (no gurantees). If you give me the measurments, I can make you one over spring break for a few bucks

**I am assuming you have a SYE right?

Yeah I have an SYE and can not afford another custom one. I'll try to get you measurements and if you could fab one up I would greatly appreciate it.

Cody, I had thought of that already but I want to be able to drive at least 55.

"I can't drive 55!" Oh sorry, I was listening to 96.3 trying to get in bike week mode.

Does this mean you have another xj front driveshaft? I won't have time to hunt one down before you leave for springbreak. How much would you want for this?

I don't have one but there is a junkyard near me with plenty of xjs so I can just go pick up another(I think it is like 20 bucks)
