that is awesome. I did quite a bit of welding myself this last week. Got my new "bumper" welded together and welded onto the Heep.

jesus christ this place is going soft...

big fawkin bumpers, sliders, cages, armor, protection, whatever, should be WELDED to your shit. 4 dinky 9/16" grade-8's holding your megahomo bumper on fully brings teh suck.

i have my winch held onto the bumper with a pair 0f .5" grade 8s, but that's probably getting welded on too. As for accidents, since it only goes from mount to mount, i'll be more worried about one of my front wheels getting snapped off or plowed like Cody's did.

henry, not gonna lie, that winch set up is straight scary, before you go welding it too the sheet metal bumper I'd look for a better set up. I'm honestly suprised it didn't rip off when you pulled james back over.

you haven't seen my new one  The winch plate has been narrowed and bolted to 3/16" steel that has 1/4" uprights top and bottom to form a c-channel. I'll see about grabbing some pictures and uploading them if i'm crazy enough to run special trail tomorrow.
