What type of shocks is everyone running?

Post by VerticalTRX »

I'm looking for a cheap set of shocks to go on my F-150 and was wondering what everyone in the culb was running? If my memory serves me I overheard someone talking about some cheap shocks that were availible up to 14" travel, and they were getting them at autozone or somewhere. They were white body, mono-tube shocks, and I think they started at about $17 a pop. IDK, maybe I was just dreaming that.

BTW, I need about 8-10" travel rear, and 14" travel front, and want to find some on teh cheap. Thanks for any info.

these are what I'm using...

you can get them from summit for about 35 bucks a piece and in my experience, they hold up much better than rancho rs5000 shocks

I'd recommend the DT's as well. They are good and cheap.

Thanks for the info. I was really hoping to find something in the $20-25 range, but I guess that doesn't exist in anything long-travel. I guess I'll be looking into those Doetsch's.

Rancho RS5000's...Summit has them for cheap. I've run them forever and love them.
I feel like a hundred bucks...
