I would like to get a set of either Q78-15 TSL's or 36x12.5x15 SX's soon.

I'll make a list of tires that people are interested in and go talk to Mark this weekend and see what he can do for us. I'll let you know what he says after I talk to him.

FWIW, I think I'm going to order my Swampers from Summit. No taxes, virtually no shipping and their prices are very low. I'm going with 34x10.50-15 LTB's since thats all I can aford before uwharrie comes around. Summit was $499 shipped to my door, Firestone on mainstreet was $565 ($2 a tire over their cost), and CC rosen was $541.

well, it doesn't look like Firestone can go much lower in price on swampers. Like you said, he's basically selling them for a couple of bucks above cost, so they don't really make much on them. The Bridgestone or Firestone brand tires are more negotiable. I guess the prices must have gone up for them on swampers because I bought a set of 34x10.50 LTB's from Firestone about 2 years ago for $118 per tire!

when i picked up my 37's from cc rosen, they were saying that they're getting tired of dealing with interco... prices go up every month (everytime the get a shipment in, interco wants more money) and they (interco) don't have anything in stock anymore. the guy i was talking to (chris, i think) said its tough to deal with them since cc rosen like to have a ton of stock on hand (that's how they operate... move lots of stock) and interco can't keep up with the demand. almost all of the more popular sizes are not stocked anymore at cc rosen. I asked about Irok (bias and radial) 36's, 37's and 39.5's, and 38.5" Sx's. None in stock. it really makes me wonder who the feck is running interco... they could easily corner the large tire market in the states with an investment in tooling and manufacturing. there's a reason they've always got so many blem tires fer sell... not smart business practice imo.
