WTB: .125 Plate Steel

I need some .125 plate to build some pieces to repair the back of my CJ frame needs to be about 14" x 36" or so....bigger would be better.

Anyone have a piece of know where I can get some cheap?

Hammon (Hammond)? Mechanical has tons of steel laying around. Not sure how much it will be but it is on Cambria St. in Christiansburg right across the street from the welding suply place. Ive been getting some metal there. Cya Stinson

Cool thanks Stinson I'll check it out, hey I couldnt talk you into welding it up for me when I get it done could I? I dont need it welded to the frame yet just welded into a box. Make sense?

if you can get ur rig over to my place sure....unless u have 220 at ur place. BTW I stopped by ur house last weekend, u werent there.

Yeah I should be able to get it over there I will only need the plates welded together at first then I will cut the frame off and get everything ready and I just haul that bare frame to your place.....

I've got some pieces of cut up YJ frame if that helps.

hssss you wouldnt happen to have the back about 18 inches from both sides do you? as far as I can tell a CJ and a YJ have the same profile right there and I could just weld the YJ pieces in.

I have the back cut in frount of the front spring hanger minus the back bumper.
