FREE 4.10 gears for V-6 Toy rear end and brake shoes

Post by Redneck7 »

I 99% sure I still have my rear 4.10 R&P from my 99 Tacoma (V-6, 5spd w/ factory locker...don't remember if it matters). They were taken out when the truck had like 75K miles and P&J said they looked fine when swapped em with my 5.29's, so if anyone could benefit from them, let me know and I'll bring them up next time I go home.

Also about 99% sure I sold my front 4.10 diff a long time ago, but if not, and somebody wants it, I'll bring that too (but I really don't remember seeing that in the garage lately, so I'm thinking it's gone).

Also have brand new brake shoes (I know...a whopping $9 value) but if someone can use those, they're free too. I can't use this stuff since the truck is long ago sold and when I was home last weekend trying to work on my boat in the garage I kept kicking parts from various vehicles I used to own and it started getting old. I've probably got other things, but those are the only two I saw from my Tacoma that I can remember off the top of my head except for the factory spare (31x10.50 maybe).

If you need a home for the stuff I will gladly take it and put it in my stock pile. I plan on keeping the Taco awhile and ya never know if you might need it.

Sure...might be a while before I'm back home, but next time I go I'll toss whatever I see that's off of my Tacoma into the back of my truck and then I'll post up saying it's here.

I could put the spare tire to use if you still have it. Thanks

Sure...I'll see if I have it...because now that you actually want it I'm starting to doubt myself as to whether or not I actually saw it this past weekend.

My dad talks a lot of shit about throwing all of my shit out of his shop, and occasionally follows through...so the tires (had a few spares from Taco, F-150 4x4, and a Chevy) might be gone...they especially bug him since they take up so much space.

If the tire is there I'll bring it and the gears, the pads...and anything else I see from my Tacoma or F-150 because I don't foresee having a use for them anytime soon.

That having been said...anyone wanna trade me an NV4500 with the 6.34:1 first gear for all the old Toyota, Ford and GM crap I can find? As an added bonus I'll even throw in a bunch of square tube, flat stock and angle stock in various lengths and thicknesses that are also clogging my garage with no particular use in mind

Finally got around to digging around in the shop...the factory spare is still here, but I rode home in my girlfriend's camry, so it's staying here till the next time I drive my truck home.

The rear pads are coming back to Blacksburg...brand new, in a tattered box.

Bought for a 1998 V-6 Tacoma, free to good home.

The gears were no where to be found, so I assume they left with the differential, which I assume I sold so long ago that I forgot about doing it...
