They are the ones that turned my 2-3 week project into a 5 month project. Apparently when I had them replace my clutch 8 months ago all they did was take the old clutch out and slammed the new one in, which ended up warping the pilot bushings. Thought I'd just give y'all some heads up. By the way my jeep is finally done.

Don't go to AA transmissions

I've had nothing but good experiences with AA Transmissions. They are one of the few shops around who will actually help you out if your rebuilding a transmission and need a special tool or just get stuck.
I had a problem with the TH400 in my CJ not shifting out of first gear. Couldn't figure it out myself. Took it to another shop down the road and they had no clue. Finally towed it to AA, guy there figured out what it was is less then 30 minutes and didn't charge me a cent.
I'm not too sure how your claiming that they warped you pilot bearing.

i'm guessing he means that they didn't bother replacing it (it was worn out), or if they did, it wasn;t seated properly... both mistakes i'd be surprised to hear from AA...

yes I had heard good things about AA transmissions and thats why i went there, I know people make mistakes, but after what i've gone through I don't think i'm gonna go back.
what happened was that they didn't replace the old pilot bushing which was bad and then because they didn't replace the old one they didn't notice the burs on the crank, which had to be cleaned up. Also they didn't clean the bellhousing or anything. So thats what caused the pilot bushing to get chips in it and to warp a little, which caused my jeep not to go into gear.
And no it wasn't under warranty because it was a centerforce clutch, I had asked them to install.
