Can I run a non-EGR intake on EGR SBC heads?

Story is '85 'burban and I have an edelbrock intake and carb to go on... it just dawned on me that I may have trouble with the EGR.

Help please as I'd like to get this done by friday! :confused2:

Yes chris, no problems doing that. The heads and intake will both have the passageways for the exhaust cross over, but not the passageways for the EGR system. No problems at all.
