You should have down shifted before riding your brakes. :confused2: Anyways, mine has the manual tranny, so I down shift all the time. Besides, towing my 4wheeler or maybe a lawn tractor (sounding like Leach, huh?) will be about all it sees.

Clearly you've never ridden with me :mrgreen: I downshift all the time. That wasn't the problem. Just the prolonged non-stop on/off braking for extended periods of time.
