FREE 1966 Ford F-100 in Blacksburg

Post by maybs »

Someone is giving away this truck. The only info I have on it is that it is a "project truck". I don't even know if it's 4WD. Let me know if you're interested and I'll PM their email address to you. You can't take it to just turn around and sell it or haul it off for scrap, though.

It's the rules of the forum where this was posted. People give things away for other people to use, not make a profit on.

I'd be interested depending on the "projectness" of it.

What if scrapping vehicles is my hobby??? i.e. that's how I 'use' and get enjoyment from vehicles.

I think it's fine to want to give away something and hope that it's used in a certain way. But whenever I hear of coveyed property coming with such a stipulation on the new owners use I have to roll my eyes. If that's the goal of the giver awayer then he should interview interested parties to send the truck off in the direction he thinks is best. As soon as it's gone, it's out of his control.

off my little soapbox.

And in closing, you'd have to pay ME to take a Ford. :flipoff2:

There must have been a lot of interest in this thing as the owner has a list of names to go down for pickup. I'll let you all know if it comes this way.
