Going to have around 110-115 inch wheel base. Going to strech the tub maybe or a box on the rear. Dodge 360, torqueflight 727, np205. 4 link front and rear, thinking about using airbags all linked together.
I dont really want to work on someone else's frame. I got the 40 feet of tubing for $195.00 from Steel Services in Roanoke. Pretty good for a new frame I thought.
It based off of an m135. The body was completely custom made. Still used the m135 frame though, just bobbed behind the front rear axle. Its tagged and road legal. I got a couple more pics. Ive got 480 sq feet of 16 gauge steel plate on order. A guy i work with is drawing it up in Autocad, so I can cut all the panels out .
Im planning on using a windshield out of a hummer h1, I can get m135 windshield and dash for a $100.00 though.
well for the past 4 days Ive been trying to replace the boots on the front axle. I guess the cold weather helped stiffen the rubber up and thet went on pretty easy. I also got the stock steering arm off. I had to loosen it with a sledge hammer.
Anyone running a four link if so what size rod ends are you using?

i just ordered flax joints for mine ...
ballisticfabrication.com ....
i got their forged CrMo joints ... good design, and cheaper than currie.
I was going to order 7/8 rod ends for the front and rear 4link. Has anyone ever seen a rod end fail? the 1 and 1.25 rod end just look like overkill which is good but expensive.
