first of all ... this build will be long, and slow. im finishing college, while working, with little money and lots of expenditure ... so if you feel like donating, i wont say no!! :flipoff2:

as it sits:

4.0 6 cylinder
TF999
np231
D44F/D35R
32s/33s

and the plan:

Custom Fabbed Cage 1.75x0.120 1018 DOM main with the interior bars made of 1.75x0.095 HREW
Custom 2" lift Motor mounts
JKS 1" BL
Completely Flat skid ... 0.188 plate with gussetting / stiffeners made out of 0.188 plate, bolted to the frame / crossmember in at least 9 places ... possibly as many as 16.
rear crossmember 2.0" x 2.0" x 0.250" drilled with welded inserts for extra bolts for the skid
Rear 14BFF trussed until its complete overkill, shaved to OD of the carrier, Ring gear shaved to the OD of the carrier, 410s, and an "orb of traction".
Front 14B/60, shaved same as rear, longfield CVs, trussed, 410s, ARB or other selectable locker, hydro assist or full hydro .. .not sure yet
4 link rear, 3/4 link front ... havent decided. links are 2.00x.500 DOM, drilled and tapped for 1.25x12TPI and the joints will be Ballistic Fab forged CrMo
coilovers, FOA, 16s front, 18s rear, im thinking about 6" of bump ... the rest droop ... and completely adjustable for crawling / go fast mode, rears will be mounted to the cage
fuel cell
cut the back of the frame and replace with 2x4 tubing for clearance and inboard the frame.

and the tear down begins ....

some generic tube doors i bent up to get a feel for the bender

Freebie no 1

I got some small pieces of 1/2 and 3/8 You can use when you shave those huge ass 14 bolts.
Freebie no 2.

I also got a shit load af tabs and brackets that I wont be using on my rockwells.

bwahahah ... but i have made substantially more progress than peter.

he is slow as fuck ... AND ... i have a sheet of 11g steel being delivered on monday ... so i can start trussing the axle and building the link mounts .... now i just have to strip everything out of the back of the TJ so i can roll the axle under it and take measurements ....
