WTB Toyota 5-spd transmission

Post by maybs »

I'm looking for an L52 tranny, but any other L-series 5-spd will also do. The 4-spd I have is not going to be nice to the diesel. I know I could put a 5th gear in my L45 but I need to stop adding to the TODO list and start getting things done.

Any information on where to find a 5-spd L-series is also appreciated!

Are you saying its the one currently in your truck? If so, I would hope you've got an upgrade ready to swap in and wouldn't be disabling your rig.

Would you be interested in trading for a 22R?

Yep, L is shorter (I think 4 inches shorter than G), which would be better for the shorty samurai.

L is shorter.

Last time I was at D&M they had an 82 or 83. As a last resort you could give them a call.
