I've just borrowed them from Advance or Auto Zone when I needed them in the past. Like a $20 deposit or whatnot.

Ya, the tacoma coils are a little bit stronger than the ones you can rent at autozone, so I figured I'd ask around. Now that I think about it I'm not sure i need one just for shock replacement

If I remember right, the compressor from advanced wouldn't fit on your tacos coils.

Thats what I thought. I figured If nothing left i could just bring my shock and coil system in and have them assemble them, but I'm not sure what to do lol

I used a rented one on my 1998 Tacoma, but I do remember having a time getting the thing actually on and off the coils (pretty sure it was because the feet on the compressor were bigger than the gab between each coil of the spring...but that was 6 years ago, so I'm not 100%).
