Hey everyone my name's zach. I've got a 1995 Jeep Wrangler with about a 5" suspension lift and a three inch bodylift (from the previous owner, soon will be one inch). It's got 4.88s and 35" baja claws, and homebrew bumpers and sliders made from 1/4". I'm in the process of putting a ford 8.8 in the rear so i should be ready to wheel in a few weeks once i find a deal on a locker and a set of gears for it.
How it looked when i bought it at the beginning with broken motor mounts, 10" shackles, etc

There was a blue jeep around Tech with that exact setup and running Thornbirds.
What an ass hat. I'm glad you got that thing away from the PO. You should take it by and show him how things should really be.
Did you complete a SOA swap or just reduce the height of the shackles? I can't really tell from the pictures.

It's still SUA with just 5/8 lift boomerang shackles. I got an 8.8 I'm getting ready to put in the rear, but i think until next summer its going to remain SUA too. I don't really have the money right now to put a SYE and a CV driveshaft under the rig.tsmall07 wrote:There was a blue jeep around Tech with that exact setup and running Thornbirds. What an ass hat. started building my 93 yj about 2 years ago. did the whole sua lift with 32's thing and got antsy so instead of going in small increments i went to 3/4 ton ford gear and 38's. not tagged yet..
Specs:
93 YJ 2.5L, AX-5, Teralow 231
SOA with mixed stock/rancho lift springs, rear traction bar
HP44 4.10's, alloy inners, yukon outers, spartan locker, highsteer and soon to be hydro assist
60 rear 4.10's, welded
Recentered and rock ring'd H1 beadlocks
38 TSL SX's
Custom AtoZ fab cage
My tube fenders and grill hoop
my bumpers front and rear and my sliders
prp comp highbacks with 5 point crows (currently 4 point)
m8000 w/ rope
current plan of action is to link the rear this winter.
double triangulated 4 link (working out the geometry and design now)
6-8 inch stretch
coilovers if i can swing it, airshocks if not (14's maybe, preferably 16's or more)
new rear frame
IDEALLY bored and 35 splined arb rear with cutting brake, maybe just a 14 bolt with arb/cutting, maybe nothing at all..
full build is here for the smaller version: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f12/proj ... ct-578313/
and for the 38's and all: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthre ... 233&page=8
