Well, I didn't end up going in from the bottom, just ran halfway in from 460 and then back out.

Eric, if you wanna go tomorrow, lemme know. I'm gonna go to the game, but my little brother will be in town and I'd like to take him out. Gimme a call if you wanna go.

The guy that lives in that small ass house next to the gate has a key and let me in. I told him I was with the club, and he just kept talkin about how he loves watching the "machines" drive by. His name is Darrel by the way.

Weird, cause he gave me the most evil look when I went in and out on Saturday to meet Steinberg.

I haven't had any negative encounters with the guys living there. I think for the most part they're good guys and are generous enough to have the place open for others. The time's the gate has been closed in the past, it's been for good reasons. Sometimes when it's closed and there are people outside, they will open the gate for you- it's okay to ask- but if they don't want people back there that day, keep a good attitude and leave nicely. Whether it's Hoge or the residents that have closed the gate, just respect their decision to do so.

I kinda see now that my post reads negatively, I don't want to give anyone the wrong idea. Darrel is a real nice guy, and easy to talk to, they all are, they invited me in and I talked to all of them for a few minutes. He offered me $5 for the ride to citgo but I told him that it was alright and I appreciated him opening the gate.

nah, I wouldn't say so. I was just throwing my 2 cents in.
