broken turn signals

Post by jstables »

My turn signals are messed up and blowing fuses. The driver side works fine but the passenger side is not working even though my driving and brake lights work. I have replaced the switch assembly in the column, all the bulbs, flasher, and the right rear light plug. Anybody have any ideas on what to check next?:confused2:
This is on my 1991 s10 blazer 2wd 4x4.

I would go looking for loose/corroded grounds first. If all the lights are burning (one on the bumper, one next to the head light, one small and one large bulb in the tail light), I'd think the problem is in the flasher circuit going to that side. GM uses only one flasher, but it works on the power feed side. It then travels up the steering column along with the wires carrying power to the park lights for constant state. Start looking hard at the wires under the dash. Do the lights go out when you activate the turn signals, or do they just stay on?
