Scrap steel up for grabs...

Post by Steinberg »

If you want any of this, either get it ASAP, or let me know that you want it set aside ASAP. It's on a borrowed trailer so I'll be recycling whatever isn't taken very soon. Pictures coming any minute....

If I can hold onto the trailer long enough, I'll bring it all to the meeting tomorrow night for people to pick through.

Summary:
Whole bunch of wire rope
2" Sch40
1.5" Sch40
1" Sch40
2" Square tube, kinda thin wall
1" Square tube, short pieces
1/4"x3" Flat stock
1/4"x2" Flat stock
1/4" plate
1/8"x2" Flat stock
Expanded steel
Solid rod... probably 3/4"... threaded about 4" on the ends

And a whole bunch of these kinda sheet metal "doors", various sizes. I envision welding some up into a toolbox or some similar function.

There are (3) approx 8' lengths of the 1/4"x3" flat stock. If you need wider than 3", it will have to be cut off of some weldments.

About how much of each of the sch 40 pipe and how long can you hold it? If you would be able to hold it up till spring break that would be great, I could get you some cash for holding it that long for me. If not depending on the amount and lengths I can pick it up within the week

The 1.5" pipe is in about 6' lengths if that's what you're asking. The 1" pipe is probably max 2' between welds, and there isn't much 2" pipe- one piece about 10' and two pieces like 4' and 6' probably. It can sit at my house for a good while if you tell me specifically what you want.
