FS: Tow Dolly, Camry

Post by Steinberg »

If anybody is interested in the tow dolly, I'd like to upgrade to a trailer now that I have the F250. It's a Master Tow 80" Heavy Duty. Wide enough for a fullsize truck, with electric brakes, zerk-greaseable hubs, and LED lights. If you need a brake controller, I have an extra Prodigy that I could also part with.

The Mounty is gone. I want the Camry out of here too... make an offer... less than 90k miles on it!!!

yeah yeah yeah.... I was in a hurry and wanted to wet everyones' appetites. How bout some nice round numbers?

Tow Dolly: Would love to get $1k for it. Keep in mind this is one of the few models out there that can handle a real truck, has very effective brakes, and is still in great condition. I will put some new tires on it if I get the asking price, and might be able to throw in some new straps too.

Camry: $1k
I've put new tires and front pads and rotors on it. It has an exhaust leak at the downpipe due to catching a rock in my driveway. I think it just tweaked the flange where the rest of the exhaust bolts up. Has A/C but not blowing cold. Transmission shifts hard, especially 1st-to-2nd. I think I've gotten between 24 and 34mpg depending on whether I'm racing down back roads like an idiot, or cruising up the interstate at a conservative pace. Interior and exterior are pretty good. Somewhere around 85k miles!!! Granted, it was a New York City car, but was kept garaged and barely driven there.

Mountaineer: GONE.

Tow-dolly has all new tires.... with a spare! I also re-did all the wiring front-to-back, eliminating all the intermediate connectors. The entire harness is soldered, shrink-wrapped, wire-loomed, and e-taped throughout the entire trailer, and the plugs for all the LED lights have been replaced with ones that actually stay in.

Make me an offer.... I have my eyes on a trailer.

trailer/tow dolly/camry situation

Post by scrambler »

what's up berg?

I have a trailer I would consider letting go if I had a tow dolly taking up less space....

My trailer needs a fender welded back on and a light. I could fix these items this weekend.

What are your thoughts on trading your camry plus tow dolly for my trailer plus $80 cash?

Trailer

Post by scrambler »

I've owned since 2006, I believe, tandem axle, dual 3500# axles I believe, the rear has brakes. Very strong/reliable for me, I've make LOTS of $ moving stuff around on it...

like I said I need to spend an afternoon on it, but it functions perferctly as is. Has ranps built into back beck, dual metal decks, wood atop the decks so most vehicles can open their doors without hitting the trailer's fenders. Needs an LED light. Has the 6 round adapter I feel like it, and I have a few adapters around for it...

feel free to come see it
