POS 2.5L

Post by zach119 »

Well as many of you who went to Harlan know I had trouble with my motor at the end of the day and couldn't get it to run due to no spark. I tried a different ignition coil and it didn't help, it's still losing spark once it warms up. Anyone have any educated ideas before I blindly start messing with sensors to try and find the problem?

Check the routing of your plug wires, check the condition of your plugs.

Maybe check your distributor, and do you know its not sparking? What's your fuel pressure reading? My car stalled out once I got on the pedal and it was b/c of a weak pump.

If all else fails, start swappin sensors. And do you have an EGR?

Bump still not getting spark.

I changed coils and there is still no spark at the coil. I also changed the CPS and that didn't help either. Anyone have any other ideas, tomorrow i plan on chasing the wiring from the coil back to see if i can figure out anything.
