So I am curious what you guys think about the Hummer 12 bolt rims?
Also how do you feel about the Goodyear Wrangler MT tires?
I know of a set rims and tires for $800. 95% tread left
I am looking at putting a 6" lift on the CUCV M1008 this winter.
Thanks for the input,
Chris

True, although some companies say they do make a high steer arm that will clear H1 wheels. I don't see why you couldn't replace the cast kingpin cap/steering arm with a high steer arm designed for H1 wheels. Maybe run ya $150?dodgeguy119 wrote:Be aware that I don't think they will clear the steering on your front axle due to the backspacing without spacers.

Yeah, 800 seems a little steep on them I'd say. They did not clear the knuckles on my 44 before I recentered them. You could run spacers but for the same price they can be recentered. I think I paid 250 for my new centers way back when and it took an evening to recenter them.

Arya or anyone else,
Do you know of any for less $$$? I haven't been able to find any on Craigslist (with the help of Searchtempest), ebay or any of the other forums I am on with any luck. I have seen the 8 bolt rims for less with the old tires but they are the oldest versions (it went 8 bolt, 12 bolt and 24 bolt on the rims). The tires alone cost Uncle Sam $1,400 in bulk.

75 per tire * 4 tires = 300 + 150 shipping to dock = 450 for all 4 tires
Stock 8 bolt = 50 a piece + shipping
Stock 12 bolt = 75 a piece + shipping
They have a bunch of wheel/tire combo's including re-centered rims with your choice of backspacing among many other options. Although it looks like you would pay more than 800 for any combination of rims and tires shipped.
