cross member and shaft

Post by sfas10 »

Can someone help me make a cross member at the shop Sat morning if you're free? Maybe Zach, Will, or anyone with some metal working/welding skills. Got my gears in and ready to modify my tranny crossmember and lengthen my shaft. I will try to pick up some steel, but if anyone has some square stock or angle laying around, I would rather just use it and pay you so I don't buy too much.

Call me or shoot me a text.
Thanks

Zach

Sorry dude, I left my welder at home this semester so it's gonna be kinda hard to help you.

What is the cross member for? I could potentially help and I've got some 2x2 square tubing laying around, but I don't have my welder down here to use. Maybe one of the guys who does will chime in and let us borrow, I can't speak for them though. Also, Alec and Peter are the ones paying for the shop, so as long as its ok with them I don't see why we couldn't.
